Cumulus Support

bonjours ,quelqu'un peut il m'aider a configurer corectement le programme cumulus pour ma page internet en français ? merci.

On peut facilement mettre à jour des kits graphiques au français, mais je ne suis pas sûr de savoir comment modifier les étiquettes en anglais dans les graphiques et les jauges. Je vais demander au développeur comment nous pouvons le faire mais peut-être faut-il attendre la prochaine version

Steve, sont leurs plans pour les autres langues dans Cumulus v2? Puis tout ce qui peut être fait sur la version actuelle?

We can update the web templates to French easily, however I am not sure how to change the English labels within the graphs and gauges. I will ask the developer how we achieve this but perhaps we have to wait for the next version

It's too much work to change the current version to be multilingual, as it really needs to be designed that way to start with. So any text actually generated by Cumulus will only be in English.

Cumulus 2 is designed to be multilingual, so (eventually) there will be non-English versions.

For the Javascript gauges the following files need editing:
gaugesT.htm (The text in the gauge 'sections')
dbimages/dashboard.js (odd comment / title strings)
dbimages/windrosexxx.jpg (images need modifying for cardinals)

Can't do anything for realtime gauges, would need a new .swf file (who made the original Steve ?)

Graphs page ........ hmm .....
Can be done in a roundabout, cunning way
I'm bit busy atm, too many "irons in the fire", but if there is interest I'll have a play.

Don't forget to save a copy of ALL your modified files away from Cumulus - else they get overwritten next time you install an udate !!

I did, and while I don't really want to start producing translations of it, I'm happy to make the source code available so people can do it for themselves - it'll just take a bit of sorting out. The Flex development kit is available for free from Adobe.

I will make a start on the changes to templates and javascript and will need some 'beteljuice' magic later when he has time.

I think Steve should keep his focus on V2 and we can make do and mend for now

moi aussi de mon cote j'ai hate de voir le nez de la version 2...J'ai offert mon aide pour la traduction avec la meme reponse mentionnee plus haut.

etant Quebecois,les gens visitant mon site aimeraient bien que tout soit en francais
