error writing to all time.ini file in use

Post by ace2 »

Im not at home at the moment to check on this issue, but my status pages keeps coming up with this error
Error writing alltime.ini: Cannot create file "C:\Cumulus\data\alltime.ini". The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process
Its happened a few time over the last hour or more....

Maybe a restart of cumulus would fix this???

Will be some hours before I'm home to look into this...

It's possible - perhaps there was a problem closing the file when Cumulus wrote to it previously, so the system still thinks Cumulus has it open. This problem is more usually something else, e.g. anti-virus software, which is preventing Cumulus from writing to the file.

Looks like you have two instances of Cumulus running, since about 1630.
