Have you set the time zone to -1? From a bit of googling, it appears that's what it needs to be for the UK for this station.

I cannot find any settings to perform that task. When the RCC symbol comes up it puts my station forward 1 hour. I keep adjusting it and alas it will keep advancing 1 hour UTC

According to the Aercus manual, here - http://www.greenfrogscientific.co.uk/co ... ents-E.pdf

"Press the MENU key to select the TIME section, the TIME section digits will start flashing and you will be in the
LCD contrast setting mode (level 1-8, default level 5), press the UP or DOWN key to set the value. Level 1
will produce the faintest appearance level 8 the darkest.
Press the ENTER key to select the following:
 Time zone
 12/24h time display (default 12h)
 Manual time setting (hours/minutes)
Press the UP or DOWN key to set each value.
Note: The radio controlled clock (RCC) works off the German DCF77 time signal received across large parts of
Europe and the UK so set your time zone as follows:"

And then for the UK it says to use -1.

Many thanks Steve. My pocket manual did not have those details there. I have set it all ok. Thanks again John

I have recently (March 2020) started using an Aercus WS3083 that was lying in its box for several years.
After battery insertion, I set the clock manually, using the time offset as recommended in the manual.
Periodically the receiver console flashes DCF next to the time.
The DCF77 transmitter is 840km from my home, whereas the NPL-MSF transmitter at Anthorn is only 140km.
The time indicated drifts substantially, sometimes by minutes, sometimes by as much as 4 hours.
This makes a mess of data uploads to my computer.
I notice there has been a discussion about how to resolve this.

Does anyone know where the radio receiver for the clock is located?
Is it possible to disconnect the RCC?
Better still, is it possible to tell the RCC to listen for the 60kHz signal from Anthorn?
Is it possible to keep the clock permanently on UTC without "daylight saving"?
