Cumulus Outside Temperature Graph Displays Wrong Value

Hi there! I am a new Cumulus user and happy that I have found this software as EasyWeather and Weather Display just don't cut it. Anyway, I am having a problem in Cumulus with my temp graph displaying a low temp of 0 for August 19 (the day I started using Cumulus and this was NOT the low temp for that day). I have looked through the log files and can't seem to find where Cumulus is getting that value from. All other data is correct. I have attached pdf's of the graph and the August Summary as well as the Aug09 log file. Hope someone can shed some light on this for me. If more info is needed, let me know. Thanks! - Keith in BC, Canada

Hi Keith - Cumulus is getting that value from dayfile.txt, which contains a summary of each day's statistics. Occasionally, odd values can creep in the first time you run Cumulus. You can correct it by editing dayfile.txt with Cumulus stopped. But as that day is incomplete anyway (being the first day you used Cumulus) I would suggest that you simply delete the entry for that day altogether.

You may find that your all-time low temperature is also showing zero; you can edit this to the correct value using the all-time record editor from the edit menu. From your log file, your current all-time low temp is 12.3 at 06:16 today (22nd).

Check the dayfile.txt -- I think I am correct in saying that the graphs are built from this, but someone can correct me if I am wrong

Wow! What a quick response and yes it was in the day file, so I fixed it and now all is well. Thanks so much for the solution. And Steve thanks for making this software available! - Keith
