Windows 8.1 and Cumulus with Vantage Vue?

I read the sticky at the top of the forum, but mostly it seemed to be for Windows 8, and not 8.1. And if you use search, it ignores the 8.1... so, I am reaching out...

I am going to have to give my trusty old Dell D630 back to work (it does not have the required encryption and cannot, so all have to be returned whether it is used for work or not) so I am looking for a replacement. I have narrowed it down to a Levono ThinkServer TS-140 with the i3 chip. Speedy, and super quiet and not a huge power hog (the computer needs to be able to transcode for Plex also, so needs a bit of horsepower).

So, with the background out of the way, are there any users running Cumulus from Windows 8.1 with a Vantage Vue and maybe YawCam? Any issues? Gotchas?

Just trying to prepare myself for the move...

Thanks!
Phil

There's bugger all difference between 8 , 8.1 and 10 so I'd say your won't have any drama's.
Note though, I haven't got a Vue but I've been running Cumulus on 8.1.

Both YawCam and Cumulus work perfectly in Windows 8.1.

Running 2012 R2 here with Cumulus and Vantage Pro 2 with no issues. Davis have got a WeatherLink update for 8 which works fine with 8.1 so I would be very surprised if you run in to any dramas.
