Longest Dry/Wet Period - Incorrect

Hi All,
Apologies this is my first time in the forums but been using Cumulus for a couple months.
I have just noticed today that my Longest Dry/Wet Periods don't add up..

I look at the "This Month High & Lows"...
Longest Dry Period - 7 Days --> 23/Oct/2014
Longest Wet Period - 4 Days --> 3/Oct/2014

I look at the "This Year High & Lows"...
Longest Dry Period - 7 Days --> 23/Oct/2014
Longest Wet Period - 2 Days --> 25/Sept/2014

Why is the Wet Period saying Sept for This Year instead of the longer wet period from This Month High & Lows?

I have converted all my data from Weatherlink to Cumulus back on 18th Sept 2014 (which was a lengthy process) but got it all to work with the converter i found in the forums.. (great tool that is)

If someone could assist with the discrepancies that would be great.. Thanks
I use my weather data on Intranet so i can't show anyone what it is displaying unless screen shots are ok..

It's hard to say now without the diags files and backup data file copies, and it's unlikely you will still have those for back then (3rd October) - unless you don't restart Cumulus very often. The check for this year's highs and this months highs are done at the same time, at the end of day 'rollover'. If you do happen to have them, please zip up the diags folder and attach it, along with any backup files that Cumulus took around that time.

It may have been unable to write the year.ini file for some reason at that time (anti-virus software is a common cause).

Thanks for sending me the diags and backup files, but note that I prefer to do support in the forum rather than in private, partly so that anyone finding this thread in future can follow it and see what the conclusion was.

Cumulus wasn't closed down properly on 5th October, presumably your PC crashed or was powered off and Cumulus wasn't allowed to close down. Here's the end of the diags file, there should be some closedown activity logged.:

5/10/2014 13:39:06.996 : VP2: OpenTCPIPPort_V, res = 0
5/10/2014 13:40:01.063 : VP2: Periodic connection close, result = 1
5/10/2014 13:40:07.065 : VP2: OpenTCPIPPort_V, res = 0

Part of the closedown process involves writing the year.ini files (amongst others) to disk. As it was unable to do this, the record value from October wasn't saved. Usually the .ini files get saved as soon as a record is broken, but unfortunately not for the case of longest wet or dry period. I'll change the code so that it does that.

If you haven't already done so, you can use the editor in Cumulus to change the yearly figure and date to match the October one.
