Cumulus Gone Wild, Readings WAY off

Post by OhioRVHawk »

Hello,

Today for some reason, the readings this evening have gone completely Wild. as in if the temps and such were correct. I would be dead because of the temp. I attached a screen shot of what happened tonight. I have not done anything to Cumulus at all, not to the sensors, noting, its been running almost non stop for the past year (had to change the main sensor) but still nothing else happened.
Capture.jpg
Even now, its showing this
Temperature -31.9 °F Dew Point -31.6 °F
Windchill -31.9 °F Humidity 100%
Heat Index -31.9 °F Apparent Temperature -39.0 °F

I did notice something weird when i was at weather Underground. it kept changing from F to C, then Back again. I dont know if that will help any. but You tell me what to do, or get for you. and I will do just that.

As i said, I didnt change anything, it just started on Tuesday afternoon, and is still happening now at 2 AM EST. any help will be appreciated and soon Please

What you're seeing this the same reason why I ditched my Fine Offset for the WeatherDuino system. I was sick to death of the constant data glitches.

Please zip up the diags folder and attach it.

Have you tried restarting Cumulus? Sometimes the blocks of data from the station get out of sync, and a restart can fix that. Sometimes a reset of the console is required.

I think I may know what is happening, though I will not find out till the morning hours. If I am right after I do a battery replacement, then I may have to get a new sensor. Not happy about that thought at all. but will see after I do some outside checking.
