Barometric signal loss!

Post by WX_Frank »

I got no barometer readings on my console from the ISS.
All other data in is fine.
Is the sensor broken, way to check this and if broken...do I need to replace whole ISS unit?

Davis Advantage Vue (wireless).

Thanks in advance.

I would try reseting the console. Remove batteries and external power Wait a couple of minutes and reinstall batt and power.

Thank's Jim...just tried that without any luck.
I also tried to manually put in the BAR-values pressing and release 2ND, then press and hold SET....but the barometric pressure variable don't respond/blink :groan:

You probably need to speak to Davis.

Is there a way I can add a fixed barometric value in Cumulus?

Not as live data, no; only by editing the files afterwards.

Just thinking about adding a value like 1020mb (so can I manually change now & then) until I get this fixed, but where to do this, Steve?
Thanks.

Thank's Steve...fixed my logs, but can I "override" with a fixed value on my weather front page?
As you can see it shows 0.0hpa (?)

http://www.torrevieja-weather.net/

Thank's a lot.

Presumably you could edit something to replace the value as supplied by Cumulus with a fixed value, but I don't know how you would do that with those particular templates - you would need to ask Ken.
