There's a problem getting archive entries from your logger:

10/3/2014 05:26:13.500 : VP2: Downloading history from 10/2/2014 9:40:00 PM
10/3/2014 05:26:13.500 : y=2014 m=10 d=2 h=21 m=40
10/3/2014 05:26:45.265 : VP2: DownloadData_V = -1
10/3/2014 05:26:45.265 : VP2: GetNumberOfArchiveRecords_V = -1
10/3/2014 05:26:45.265 : VP2: No history records to process

This appears to happen every time, so Cumulus cannot maintain a full set of data. You have Cumulus setting the station clock, so that isn't the problem. It appears that your logger has simply stopped creating archive entries. You could try running Weatherlink and resetting the archive interval, which might get it going again.

Thanks Steve. I will give that a try. I appreciate your help.

Suffice it to say that returning to Weatherlink did no good. In fact I have had trouble with Weatherlink since I've had it and Cumulus is the only program that works! I am satisfied that my data to Wunderground and PWS is satisfactory. Cumulus sends along minimums which show up in both places. So the fact that it doesn't show up on the Cumulus interface is not disturbing. I will continue to use Cumulus and regard it as a splendid program. Thanks again for your help.

I suspect that the fact that WL does not work is related to the fact that the logger is not working correctly, as WL uses the logger data more than Cumulus does. You could try resetting the console and the logger - to do this I believe you would have to remove the batteries and disconnect the power for a few minutes. At this point you could try removing and reinserting the logger before powering up the station again. Without the missing data from the logger, many of the values calculated by Cumulus will be incorrect.

Note that Cumulus does not send minimum and maximum values to PWS and WU, they determine those themselves from the individual values that Cumulus sends. It uploads logger data to those web sites at start up, so any missing values will cause those web sites to also show incorrect data (e.g. if a minimum or maximum occurred at a time when Cumulus wasn't running).

I have done the power down and power up routine until I can do it in my sleep.I have sent a plea to Davis to find out if they can help me with this logger problem. They sent me a refurbished logger the first time I had the problem. Doubtful if they will send me another, but you never know. They are notoriously slow in answering any request. This has caused me the greatest frustration. I truly thought it was me but I get no .wlk files anywhere in the Weatherlink folder, so as far as I know that is one more indication that the datalogger is not downloading any records. Thanks for your insight!

Davis sent me an email and they suggest that I send the Davis Vue Console and the Datalogger in for repair. Pretty good return for something that never worked in the first place in my opinion!
