Hi all, this morning my display screen is not showing any info from the outside transmitter.

I have ordered a new one to replace it. Has anyone else had this issue and did a new transmitter fix the problem?

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the forum.

Hmm, that's rather jumping the gun, there's quite a lot to try first, it's not an uncommon problem (to some degree or another) with the "Fine Offset" (manufacturer) systems. It happened to my "test" system just a couple of days ago, for no obvious reason (I suspect radio interference) but it's working again now.

First download any data that may be in the Console, then remove the batteries and USB cable for a minute. The Console may then resynchronise to transmissions from the external unit within a few minutes.

If that doesn't help, then check that the Red LED on the transmitter flashes each 48 seconds and/or check/replace the batteries. Then resync the Console as above. If the LED doesn't flash then the Transmitter or batteries probably are faulty.

If nothing is obviously wrong, but the Console still doesn't receive data, there are still the possibilities that the transmission range isn't good enough (e.g. as the batteries discharge) or you have some local interference from a phone, a computer, or one of the many other "ISM / licence exempt" radio devices which use the same frequency.

Cheers, Alan.

Hi Alan, I had done some reading about this and all of f what you have said, I've tried.

The Tra smitter flashes as it should but nothing is being received. The display is only 10ft away from the transmitter.

Thanks for the post though.
