I spotted a flaw in my wind rose, as it was reading from the full monthly data table, the two queries 'last 24 hours' (especially) and 'last 48 hours' were not very reflective of reality. Why because I only update the full log table once a day at midnight.
I have changed those two queries so that they now use the realtime table instead.

Hi Mark,
Yet another awesome piece of Wilmslow Wizardry;
Had a play, very nice been wishing for that for a long time. Only have one issue (not found cause as yet) Can't get 30 Day to display !
a few examples with Themes added;

The records_Monthly looks brilliant, had a real brief look but could not figure that one out.
Thanks again,

Hmm, is there any data in your Monthly table for the last 30 days?

Hi Mark,
As usual you hit the nail on the head.
I still have not automated the transfer of Monthly files to Server, bummer missed last month.
All fixed, again thank you.

Has anybody else implemented the wind rose?
I have updated the SQL code again to better reflect the short term queries (24 & 48 hours).

Nice work, Mark.
I was trying to see how you implemented the PHP code but your site banned me!
Apparently I am some kind of 3L337 H@><0R!

Mark am I right in thinking that this windrose requires MySQL tables for dayfile, months and storing realtime data in a table instead of an uploaded every minute reatime.log?

If you want the last 24/48 hours options yes it needs the realtime table - unless you rewrite those SQL queries to fetch from a realtime log file instead.
All the rest of the data is read from the full log data table, the day data table is not used, it does not have the resolution required for this presentation.

And by the
full log data table
do you mean all the monthly data files imported into one table?
