hi guys

I was testing cumulus and I must to say that is perfect for my needs. I want to use the software exclusively to send realtime information to a web server where the information will be processed. I have a single weather station, but I want a few more in the future.

This server will have a web app that could be visited for our clients with the finally of provide a better service.

The license say "free of charge providing that you make no financial gain from it, directly or indirectly".

Could this be considered a commercial use?
If the license don't cover this case, do I have an alternative? buy or let a donation?

That's all. I have this doubt. Sorry for my english, because isn't good.

Bye

That sounds OK. All I really intend is that people don't try to sell copies of Cumulus.

Thanks for the quick reply.

We won't sell copies of cumulus.

However, maybe, in the future my bosses could want to get some payment from our clients for the use/installation of the weather station and the access to the web app developed by me (They can consult other stuff non related with weather stations or cumulus). That's not make money directly from the cumulus software, but I was afraid of this could be considered as an illegal use of the license.

I hope that my situation has been understood with my poor english.

Bye and thanks.
