Re: Incorrect readings

Post by steve »

I can't see any obvious problems in there, other than the fact that the system can't find the station sometimes when Cumulus starts up; but this doesn't affect the data.

Could you please clarify which record is broken every time you start up, as the "average daily temperature" record that you have mentioned does not exist in Cumulus.

And that figure is not correct? What should it be? For that figure to be incorrect, one or both of your maximum or minimum temperature are presumably incorrect (the daily temperature range is the difference between those two figures). What are those figures, and which is/are incorrect?

I had a look on Weather Underground for stations around Jacksonville, and they seem to have had high temperatures yesterday of around 85 to 89 F and lows of around 70 to 75, so your range of 19.2 is not unreasonable in comparison. This station, for example - http://www.wunderground.com/personal-we ... 916/mdaily - had a high yesterday of 89.1 and a low of 73.9, so that's a range of 15.9. Yours is perhaps a little high in comparison, but that may be down to your location and the siting and accuracy of your sensors.

Thanks Steve
The readings sound right
I misunderstood I thought this was a actual temperature :bash: That is what I get for not using my head.
When I looked at the reading I realized this was a calculated temp. Just a result of a bad day.
Sorry to be such a nuisance
Disregard the email address of this post I am at work now and had to create a new account because i could not remember my password and user name and I really did not want to reset it
