Free Weather Underground Apps for tablets

Post by RayProudfoot »

Weather Underground have released two free apps for their weather service. I'm using WunderStation on the iPad and it's very impressive.

You can add individual stations and then view all pertinent info. Clicking on each segment (i.e. temperature) opens up a more detailed view showing temp range over 1) last 365 days 2) last 30 days 3) last 7 days 4) yesterday and 5) today.

And in a move away from their website version you can select imperial or metric for each element. Makes a nice change from all imperial or all metric.

Highly recommended! :D
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

Hmm, it doesn't work with Android KitKat it seems - "Your device is not compatible".

It's not as if the latest version of android has just been released either. From the comments it seems it's not just me.

Edit: actually it is me, the WunderStation app is not available for Android, I was trying to install the WunferMap app.

Mark,

I was going to suggest you upgrade to Android Bounty or perhaps Lion Bar then it might be available.

Hopefully they'll make it available for all platforms soon if I've read your post correctly.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.
