LED screen

Whilst having work done in the garden recently my WH1081 got damaged. I purchased a replacement form Maplins (N96GY). I have now installed it and all works well using Cumulus v1.9.4 (build 1098). I was wondering if my old LED screen would work as well as the new one. I removed the batteries in the old unit for 6 hours to hopefully clear all the data. I have reconnected it and all that it shows is inside temp/humidity, pressure, and after setting up clock/calendar they seem to work as well. Nothing is showing up. What I would like to know is is it possible to run two LED screens and if so how does one set both up.
Thanks

I have what I believe is the same model as yours, here in the States I got it from Zephyr instruments, a now extinct company. Anyway, I originally purchased it with 2 screens and have run both of them simultaniously for nearly 5 years.
Each of these displays batteries run down at different times and when that happens, I simply pull out the batteries and insert new ones and the display does a "pole" of the sensors for about 2 minutes until it "finds" the sensors and then it just goes into normal mode. So try removing/re-inserting the batteries and see what the results are...

As you see from my post I did remove the battery from the old unit while I set up the new system. The new one was working when I put the batteries back in the old screen. It is within a couple of meters of the station so should pick up quickly.

Hi,
Apart from a possibly different radio frequency (Fine Offset supply both 434 MHz and 868 MHz for the UK), FO changed the "wireless protocol" of the "Maplin" stations a few years ago. So, depending on the age and "badge" of your older station, it is quite possible that the transmissions are not compatible. But if they are compatible then it's certainly possible to run two Consoles from one set of sensors/transmitter. There are a number of relevant posts on the forum, perhaps search on "protocol" in the FO section.
Cheers, Alan.

Thanks for your reply. I should think now that they are not compatible with each other.
