Hi Steve

Thank you for this great S/W, got a WH1081 as a present from the wife :D , set it up (total novice) last Saturday, downloaded Cumulus, and Wow I love it!!!
Next for me will be setting up a website :-o, may need a lot of help from the forum!
Paypal is OK for me as I have an account, but many of your users may wish an alternative method to donate.

Thanks again

Lester

PS I am getting one problem with pressure readings dropping , I think this happens when Cumulus is updating?

Lester, I split your post out into a new topic, so we can better discuss this pressure problem.

This can occur on startup when the pressure 'offset' that Cumulus reads is garbage, so Cumulus just uses zero (so effectively you end up with your absolute pressure being recorded instead of relative pressure). There's a work around for this by telling Cumulus what offset to use, rather than reading it from the station. You specify it in cumulus.ini by adding a line to the [Station] section:

EWpressureoffset=x.y

where x.y is your offset.

Having said all that, it's not clear from that graph whether this applies in this case. Do these pressure drops correspond to times where you have restarted Cumulus, or was it just going along normally and suddenly recorded these values?

Hi Steve

I think it has only happened on start up, when cumulus is updating, however not every time, i'm pretty sure that at least once I clicked Cumlulus icon twice and so launched it twice :oops:

Have attached bug report that flagged up.

Many thanks

Lester

Right - in that case the work around I mentioned will probably help.

Yes, that's always going to cause problems :)

There's an option in the Station settings (Stop 2nd instance) that will stop that.
