Clock time off

Last night my PC crashed resulting in my PC clock resetting to 1/1/2008. I caught it today after noticing the web updates showing Jan 1.
I tried to go back the dayfile.txt backup of the 21st and in put it in the data folder then run "create missing". That inserted some 2 dates from 2007 and 2008 (before my station was even in place) and 2 dates in Sept 2014 (in the future).
Obviously I'm missing something. Not sure what to provide to aid in troubleshooting. Looks like my Today, Yesterday, and This Month are all wrong.
Thanks for any help.

Hopefully you have a recent backup of your data in the Cumulus backup folder. If you do, copy and paste the files in the latest backup folder (backup folders named by date) to the data folder over-writing what is there with Cumulus closed obviously. With your time properly set, reopen Cumulus and it should fix itself.

Also replace the battery on your computer's motherboard so the date doesn't get reset like that again.

Thanks that did it. I was only pulling the dayfile.txt when I needed the entire contents of the backup for the previous day.
Ironically, the PC crashed because the temps got over 100F yesterday and the PC overheated in an upstairs closet. I had to reset the CMOS to get it to boot again resulting in the time rest.
Thanks again.
