Twitter don't tweet no more...

So, i installed the newest version of Cumulus and had a fun time setting everything up and getting my station to work with it. When i got to the point of wanting to upload to twitter i dove into how to do it. After a couple days i found out that it wasn't uploading. Come to find out it's something to deal with the API token from twitter to whoever coded the program. So i ask, has anyone gotten it to work and update with version 1.9.4 (Build 1097)? If so how would you be willing to show me, if not can someone please get this to work again, would really love to have it enabled and working.

Lots of people, including myself, are updating Twitter successfully with the latest version of Cumulus. All you normally need to do is to fill in the Twitter section on the internet settings screen. Is your PC clock correct?

You could try getting Cumulus to reset the tokens (assuming it's been able to fetch them). Stop Cumulus and edit cumulus.ini. Find the [Twitter] section, and delete the lines which start
OauthToken=
OauthTokenSecret=

Then start Cumulus again.

If you turn on the debug log, Cumulus will put extra logging of the Twitter updates, including any error response from Twitter, in the current diags file (normally called cumulus.009).

Weird, i have done all that prob. about 15+ times, though i did just re-install windows so i should try again. i will copy debug when i get info.

not sure if it was the windows that was screwing up (before re-install), but for some odd reason it's now able to work and is updating. Not sure what changed, as i copied that files from one install to another, but i won't knock it. thanks for getting back to me. ^_^
