Harwich Weather Closed Down

Post by geoffp »

I am sorry to say that I have had to close down my website "Harwich Weather" this is due to my station hardware giving up the ghost.
I am afraid that I cannot justify purchasing a new station out of my old age pension.
I would like to thank Steve, Water 01, and everyone else who has given me assistance over the past years, THANK YOU
Regards,

Geoff

I am not sure Uncle_Bob the main display is just a blank so I don't know what else may have gone, I know I had a problem with the UV sensor but no way would that cause this problem

I managed to force some money out of the wife's "War chest" and I have purchased an Oregon WMR88 from Maplin, only £68 not bad when you see some of the prices being asked for that mode.
Anyway it is now all installed , up and running and I am glad to say that H.W is back on line again, I hope it is more reliable than what the Fine Offset was.
Regards,

Geoff

I had just got got everything up and running when I had a bombshell dropped on me I was told that I have Rectal Cancer.
I have had several examinations, CT Scans and MRI Scans.
I am afraid that I got very tired and everything that went wrong was such a problem to me that is when I decided to finally close down H.W.
This cancer then decided to produce a massif abscess which burst externally, I had to ho to hospital for 487 hours to have a drain put in.
On the good side I start five weeks of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy on Tuesday in hopes that the cancer will shrink so that it can be removed.
I would again like to thank everyone who has helped me in the past with H.W., I could not have done without you
Thanks all.
Regards,

Geoff
