When people enter the main site URL
www.chesselweather.co.uk is there some way that the first page displayed is the gauges-ss.htm page. But still retain the standard menu options at the bottom of the pages?
thanks

As you are using the 'standard' templates and presumeably uploading in the Cumulus default way of include 'standard files' - No.
index.???(?) will always be the first page presented when the site is visited.
As the default nav menu says the now page is index.htm a redirect would be meaningless.
You would need to take control of the uploads / rename and rename (server side) gauges-ss.htm as index.htm. (PC Cumulus) index.htm would have to be uploaded / renamed as eg. now.htm - BUT you would also have to alter all your Template nav menu links to match.

Thanks for your advice, I'll just bury a hyperlink to the gauges page in the sending URL.
