Upgrade to PHP 5.4

I'm running Cumulus release v 1.9.4 (build 1097) from my Windows 8.1 PC. I have no current issues, but I just received a notice from the company that hosts my website that I don't understand (I'm not a web developer).
"As PHP 5.3 was deprecated some time ago and therefore is no longer supported for bug and security fixes, we will be upgrading default PHP 5 instance from the version 5.3 to the version 5.4.29 on your "aztek.dnetdns.com" server on 9th August 2014, 1AM MST.
In order to ensure the upgrade goes smoothly please review your sites for compatibility with PHP's 5.4.x branch. Incompatibilities between PHP's versions 5.3 and 5.4 can be found by the URL below: http://php.net/migration54
We strongly suggest you to check your website script compatibility with PHP 5.4 which you can confirm from your web developer and make the necessary changes to get it compatible with php 5.4
Following PHP upgrade, we will also be upgrading MySQL server from existing 5.1 to 5.6.17. Please consult your web developer to check if your databases are compatible with MySQL 5.6.17 to avoid any issues post upgrade."
Can you tell me if these upgrades will cause me any problems? Thanks
