We are currently posting data to Weather Underground amd PWS Weather through our proxy server without issue. We are using Cumulus 1.9.4 (1089)
I have configured the Cumulus internet settings to post to our twitter acct, but they are not appearing!
Can anyone advise if there are any tricks to getting twitter to work?
Thanks
Andrew

Re: Not posting to twitter
Is your PC clock correct? Are you using the built in message or a twitter.txt file?
If you turn on the debug log, the attempted update and any response from Twitter (if it's getting that far) will be logged to the current diags file (in the diags folder).
I don't know whether anyone has successfully used the proxy setting in Cumulus with Twitter specifically; perhaps someone who has tried will see this and be able to help.

A search on the forum found this: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=10419
So it looks like it's not going to work, sorry.

Re: Not posting to twitter
It looks like the Twitter code in the new version of Cumulus that I'm working on will work through a proxy. I don't know know when that will be available, but at least there's hope for the future.
