Hey.

I am a new user and I was wondering if there is a kind soul out there that could help me adding cumulus weather data (all including) to my homepage please.
My homepage is hostet by One.com and it has all the required tools. But. There is a but. I havent got the slightest idea of what i am doing (i am not a nerd lol)
So if there is a kind person who would like to help me. I would be so grateful.

this is my homepage. www.knaje.dk

thank you.

Hi there,
If you following the instructions in the help file you should get something happening, even if it doesn't work correctly at first. So have a try first, read the FAQ's, google anything you're unsure about (for example ftp). If you still have trouble, post back here.

I also started from not knowing anything about a website. You've got a good start that you have a domain, a webserver, and a home page.

The first thing would be to get the Cumulus templates working on your site, then you can work on getting it on your home page.

Print out the excellent instructions included with Cumulus. Then do each step, mark down what you have done or note what you don't understand or that didn't work correctly, and ask for help along the way. Perhaps installing the weather templates in http://www.knaje.dk/weather/ would be a good initial start.

If you don't already have a FTP program to upload files from your computer to your One.com site, such as the Cumulus template files that need to be initially uploaded, then Filezilla is a good FTP program to download (it is free). You may already have this for starting your existing home page. Filezilla is fairly easy to understand and use and it will allow you to create the /weather folder on your site so that you have http://www.knaje.dk/weather/ and ready to follow the Cumulus template instructions for the initial upload of the necessary folders and files. Then a little bit of settings in your Cumulus Configuration tab and you'll have your weather website.

Once that is working you can then work on getting it on your home page, make modifications, etc.
