Some tabs in Cumulus are blank / no label

Greetings,

Ever since I started using cumulus I've noticed that some of the tabs don't have any labels in them. It never really bothered me much as I could work out what they were supposed to be, but I figure now is as good a time as any to ask if anyone knows why I am seeing this.

I'm running a Windows 7 netbook that I connect to using Remote Desktop (RDP), so I don't know if it is a side-effect of how Cumulus draws some of it's dialogue windows within RDP. "Normal" OS type dialogue windows display properly, but the bubble style tabs don't.

Currently running Cumulus 1.9.4, but it's happened ever since the first version I started using.

Scott.

(Also, just noticed there is an 'e' missing at the end of "Highest Temperature")

I use RDP to view Cumulus, and it works OK for me. I suspect it's something to do with your screen resolution and/or DPI settings, that's the usual cause of truncated/missing labels.

Thanks Steve,

I can't change the DPI settings in an RDP session, and the "screen res" matches whatever window size I open the RDP session in. I've tried setting multiple different sizes, and even forcing different colour depths but no joy. Tried "running as administrator" but no difference either.

I'll check when I get home if it looks OK on the netbooks local screen, or if I plug an external monitor into it with a higher res. I'll look at the DPI settings then as well.

Could it be something like java version or .net or something? Is there something else in the OS I might need to update or is Cumulus totally self-contained?

Cumulus is a totally self-contained Win32 application.
