Cumulus Support

I recently updated cumulus to the v1.9.4, on doing so my rain record went bizzare it gave me some like 1864.00 mm. today the system went potty again, nearly all the records went, im sat watching it and all of a sudden it started down loading and when it finished updating even the temp dropped from 22 deg c down to about 1.4 deg c, wind recorded 938kmh, this can be seen on wunderground maps IDAWLISH2 and cumulus has stopped recording. I have only had this problen since updating cumulus.

The data that Cumulus is getting from the station is mostly garbage, and it keeps stopping responding. Can you check in Task Manager and confirm that you don't have two copies of Cumulus running, and that you're not also running some other software, e.g. Easyweather? The symptoms are identical to those you get when trying to connect more than one program to the station at the same time.

The code which reads data from the station hasn't changed in a very long time, and certainly didn't change between 1.9.3 and 1.9.4.

Make sure the USB cable is connected firmly; try rebooting the PC. You may have to reset the station to get it behaving properly again.

thank you, I have easy weather on the pc but not running, I only have 1 copy of cumulus running. I will replace the batteries in my weather station as I know they are about 12 months old so this will reset set the system,
