FTP error

Post by Ned »

After having a few PC problems I did a system restore (after which Cumulus downloaded my station data back to the Restore date) and ended up getting a "FTP Error: FTP component already connected. Aborting" when trying to update my web pages. Error code is 530.
I'd had several hours of FTP failures before that (not a Cumulus problem but a PC glitch preventing any FTP server connection) which somehow fixed itself and Cumulus was working again, prior to the system restore.
I've since updated Cumulus but that hasn't helped, along with changing various settings associated with FTP
Zipped diags folder attached.

Any help much appreciated.

Error 530 is probably either a problem at the server, or your login details are incorrect. You'll need to turn on ftp logging and look at the ftplog.txt file, it may give more information.

Yes indeed, my password seems to have been corrupted along the way. Up and running again!
Many thanks Steve.
