Cumulus Support

I have a Aercus WS3083 weather station. I do not have it attached on a permanent basis to a laptop or PC.

Am I able to, without problems, connect the station to the laptop say a couple of times a week, run Cumulus, and get accurate downloadable history of the weather for that week/month etc?
Or, in order to get accurate data collection, must it be connected at all times?

Your results will always be better if you have the station connected and software running 24/7 (because more data points are available that way). But it will work in the way that you propose, yes.

But check the default logging interval of the Console, it might be set to 30 minutes. 5 minutes is normally used (set via Easyweather or Steve's utility), but even one minute is (just) possible if downloaded at least every two days.
