Error in high gust extremes

Hi Steve,
I am using Cumulus 1.94 build 1095.
There is something wrong with today's High Gust Extreme. See the screendump.
As you can see the today's High Gust Extreme is 25.7 km/h at 19:10. The time of the screendump is 17:45:23.
That's strange, isn't it?
Regards,
Dinant

It's likely that's from yesterday, so possibly something prevented the end of day rollover taking place. The usual cause of this is allowing the PC to suspend while Cumulus is running.
Another likely cause with Davis stations is that your console clock is wrong (or at least differs from the PC clock) by several minutes; that would be my guess in this case.
If neither of the above apply, if you zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply, I'll take a look.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply.
I am using a Weather Envoy. The Weather Envoy is read by Cumulus. How can I check the clock of the Weather Envoy?

Cumulus reads the station clock when it starts up, and writes it to the diags file. Are you using the option in Cumulus to synchronise the station clock?

I have the option "Synchronise station clock" disabled.
Attached is the current logfile.

The clock was nearly an hour out when you last started Cumulus on the 4th May:
04-05-2014 14:26:51.332 : VP2: Getting station clock
04-05-2014 14:26:52.645 : VP2: GetStationTime_V res = 0
04-05-2014 14:26:52.645 : y=2014 m=5 d=4 h=13 m=35
PC clock = 14:26, console clock = 13:35
Is there some reason that you don't have Cumulus keeping the station clock correct? I'd have thought that was particularly useful with an Envoy?

I see.
I've read in the forum there where problems setting the clock of the console. So I didn't enable it.
If the Envoy is about a hour out of sync, I think is better to enable the option!
I did and now the clock seems ok.

15-06-2014 20:01:34.745 : VP2: GetStationTime_V res = 0
15-06-2014 20:01:34.745 : y=2014 m=6 d=15 h=20 m=1
I have had another problem: Cumulus didn't download the archived records if the station was down for a short while. Now I understand. If the station clock is behind there are no archived records to download!
Thanks for your help.
