As far as I understand, this method downloads from your camera direct.
I prefer to have the images on site as I do.
My method does have ddn or ip on site as scripts are on PC.
The foscam method would also bottle neck your network, if say 5 people visited your can site at the same time.
So I'll stick to my way I think...

with the Foscams script, you can download also images on your Server. If there isn't someone in your site, the PHP is out of order. I use it and i check it with 5 cams. Today, till now i had 235 visitors and the bandwidth was 197.42 MB. But for test reasons i let visitors to stay five min to my index page. After that period i forward them to another pages only with weather data.
Before that i use another script, also for 5 cams but i use also seqdownload in my weather pc. I don want to use for cams any pc.

Sounds like a solution for you and others.

I'll stick to the hard way with my time-lapse and overlay. :)

I was checking my nas drive the other day and I was shocked to have almost 1/2 million Photo stored...Image
Its scary how data things take up!!

I was using Foscam script for some time and it worked very well. Unfotunately I had to change my ISP. My new ISP does not allow an access to the camera from outside of my local network (ports on the router are automtically blocked) so the Foscam script is useless in this case. Now I'm sending images from my camera to the server using Chris scripts (many thanks to Chris). It works perfectly.

I was using "SecureImageDisplayv30" script. This version was also named by Foscam as secure.

Updated my camera firmware tonight to version 2.x.1.118-20141222 after noting some wireless drop out.
I can say the FTP problem i had in previous versions has been fixed, i actually have FTP access, it was greyed out before and was unable to be changed.
This version stated improved night vision and i have to say, it's worse!!!!!
Of course this doesn't worry me and as i don't use the night vision(IR) and only record time-lapse between dask and dawn, so i don't care too much...

AFTER

I may need to just play around with the brightness settings but will have to wait till daylight...
One thing that annoys me is the hard coded FTP path, it used to be just "snap", so all my scripts pointed to that, so they decided to change it to camera ID "FI9805W_00626E4F7FB6/snap", took a little work to get my script corrected to suit.....

Images are much better, during the day anyway.
Before, they had a purple tinge ish on the grey colours, now more life like.
