Hi, I'm a newbie in this forum.
I've got running WD and Cumulus with a VP2+ through VirtualVP and I apreciate Cumulus too much, it's just a great weather software.
My question is about if sunhours percent web tags could be created. What I pretend is to know sunshine hours percent to know how solar percent there was 10 minutes ago and an hour ago so with those percentages with the help of a script calculate the current solar description (Cloudy, partly cloudy, sunny etc).
I think it combined with solar max percent is the better way to know current conditions along changes of sunshine percent in an hour.
I pretend to incorporate it to my web site to have accurate current conditions.
Thanks

Re: Sunshine web tags
Sun hours as a percentage of what? The possible sun hours so far today? I think you have everything you need to calculate that already, given that you know the time now and you know when sunrise was. I think someone has done something like this already.Atlas wrote:My question is about if sunhours percent web tags could be created.

Re: Sunshine web tags
Thanks for answering Steve
Sorry for not expressing myself correctly.
What I suggest is a couple of tags that show the actual sunshine percent of possible max sunshine in the last 10 minutes and the last hour to calculate cloud cover if possible. For example if in the last hour has been a 50% of max sunshine and in the last 10 minutes has been 70% it means partly cloudy to few cloudy and it could be very accurate conditions.
Anyway I'd be interesting about to create dinamically cloud cover current conditions with Cumulus. If this subject has been treated in this forum I'd like to see it.
Best regards

Re: Sunshine web tags
Yes, I could do web tags for those. If you create an enhancement request (link above), I can look at doing it at some point.
