WS-2090 showing 140 deg randomly

I have an Ambient WS-2090 that displays 140 deg F out of nowhere. Mostly once a day, sometimes twice a day (not often). I have two consoles: Main Console connects to the PC with Cumulus (v1.9.4), the second console is remote w/o any PC connection. The WS-2090 just displays a 140 deg F spike anytime of day/night or temperature. I know it comes from the WS-2090's outdoor unit as I caught the second remote console displaying 140 deg F one day. Can I use the Spike Filter to eliminate this reading? Trouble is the 140o F reading is transferred to WX Underground for the world to see. I've set the Spike Filter to 60 deg C, and Cumulus still records 140 deg F. I have set the Spike Filter to a lesser value, but it then reports 'errors' all the time, so I set it back to 60 C and wonder what value I should set it to. Can the Spike Filter help in this case?
