Hi,
I seem to have problems with spike removal. Im not 100% sure if this got worse when I upgraded to 1.94, (I did that about one week ago). If I enter spike values for the humidity I sometimes don't get any difference, but when I restart the software it suddenly removes most of the spikes. Right now I have a spike that I haven't been able to remove... see attached;

Weather station is WM918.
Regards
Jens

The spike removal only works on Fine Offset and La Crosse stations.
The reason spikes shown on the graph would have disappeared after a restart is that the graphs are drawn at 1-minute intervals while running, and then initialised from data in the log file after a restart. So to remove that invalid value shown in your graph, you need to stop Cumulus and edit the May log file.

OK, thanks for quick answer!
Has anybody else suddenly got spikes with a WM918 and investigated why? I haven't had this earlier - it started a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was some moisture in the sensor box. I took the sensor down from my antennatower and checked, but it was totally dry and actually looked quite good after several years. I have put some protective "paint" on it now, (I'm not sure what this clear paint is called in English but it's normally used in the electronic industry). Less spikes after this treatment but this could be something else too.
Spikes are most often seen during daytime, but the sensor box is pretty well protected during most of the day from direct sunshine.
I have a long cable, almost 30m, from the outer box down to the control box, but shielded cable and as mentioned earlier - it has worked well for many years.
