Hi all
Does anyone have any information about linking Cumulus to Facebook. Or are there any plans to have a FB feature added to the station setup? I have a FB weather page for my station, but unless I physically upload stuff to it (which I can't keep at all day every day) not a lot gets posted, and I am getting followers (bizarrely).
Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
Nick

I have no plans to add Facebook updating to Cumulus any time soon, if ever. I don't do Facebook myself and I know very little about it, and I'd like to keep it that way for as long as possible.
I believe you can update Facebook via Twitter, or by an RSS feed. A forum search should find the thread with instructions for the latter. There may be other ways - sorry I can't be more help.

Hi Steve
Many thanks for the quick answer.
Anyone else got any ideas how I could achieve this? I will look through all the threads and see what I can find also.
Cheers all
Nick

I used to use Cumulus to update Twitter and in turn use the inbuilt twitter function to post the tweet to facebook. Worked well until Twitter changed their API's and it borked Cumulus but I see that twitter integration has been fixed in the new cumulus release so worth a shot

I'm sick of seeing Facebook and "likes" everywhere. Looks like a plague!
