Rainfall error
I was away for a couple of days, and during that time there was a power failure at home. When the electricity was restored, Cumulus logged an additional 129 mm of rain, raising the 2009 total from 531 mm to 660. When I noticed this, I edited dayfile.txt, Jul09.txt and today.ini back to the correct values. However at every VP2 update (15 min interval), my Jul09.txt and today.ini revert back to the incorrect total. Is there anything else I need to edit to keep the correct rainfall totals?

Re: Rainfall error
It sounds like the rainfall counter in your VP2 has increased by the extra 129mm, so this is why Cumulus keeps adding it to today's total. You need to edit the Start= value in today.ini (with Cumulus stopped) to allow for the extra (i.e. add 129 to the value it's currently showing). When you start Cumulus again, today's value should then be correct.

Re: Rainfall error
Thanks Steve,
I had forgotten to shut Cumulus down before I edited the values.
All is well now. Thanks again
