Cumulus not updating on website

Last evening my PC running windows7 crashed. I managed to sort that out but on opening Cumulus I could not get it to respond and had to end via Task Manager. I tried to rectify the error by restarting the console and also updating to the latest release of Cumulus. When I subsequently opened Cumulus I had an error message that the clock on the console was wrong so I reset to the correct time. My problem is that although my data is uploading correctly to my PC and Awekas, Weatherunderground, Met Office etc Cumulus data on my webpage remains stuck to last evening when my system crashed. Other items on the website are updating normally (Met Office, Meteorologica, visitor count etc). Could there be an error in somewhere in my configuration? Any help as to solving this problem appreciated.

Your 'realtime.txt' seems to be uploading correctly(07/05/14 13:36:55 as of now), did the upload of the Cumulus pages become unchecked in the crash?
Turn on your error/ftp logging and see if anything shows up

Thanks for your quick response. I have double checked and all the necessary boxes in the files section of the internet configuration screen are checked. Will see if FTP logging turns up any anomoly

Granted, I don't use the standard pages any longer, but you might have given a clue
Code: Select all
10:50:10:919 Uploading C:\Cumulus\web\index.htm to index.htm
10:50:10:919 ! HighLevelAsync 0
10:50:10:919 FTP Command: PASV
10:50:10:919 05467750 TriggerDataSent 1208
Shouldn't that be C:\Cumulus\web\index
T.htm to index.htm, the capital
T for Template
Looks like you are just loading an existing index.htm instead of new data into the indexT for processing and uploading. Check you settings for processing and uploading.

The above is incorrect, Cumulus PROCESSES the indexT.htm file to indexT.htmtmp and UPLOADS that file to index.htm file.
I think it is more likely that you have your Cumulus root upload directory set incorrectly. It says that it is loading the files to "Current directory is /public_html". Is that correct server directory? Have you made sure that Include Standard Files and Include Standard Images are ticked on the Files tab in the Configuration/Internet window?
If it is we need to see more of the ftplog file to see if any errors are generated so I suggest you attach the ftplog.txt file to a post.
On looking at the Steelseries gauges they are obviously not seeing your realtimeguages.txt file which is present in the root directory, so that also points to a directory problem.

Thanks for your reply. My root directory is /public_html and both boxes mentioned in your post are correctly ticked as are process? realtime? FTP against each of the local file names. I am using FileZilla as my FTP client so maybe have uploaded Cumulus files to the wrong place. I am no expert and appear to be struggling out of my depth so apologies for my lack of know how! I was fortunate to receive some help when I originally set up my website and it has been running without problems until this latest windows crash.
ftplog (2).zip
I last turned on FTP logging at 10.50 am this am and attach the long file for your info.
I much appreciate your offer of time etc in looking into my problem
regards
Mike

It looks like you have the path capitalized when it should be lowercase - It looks like it does need it as
/ (root) is stated as restricted access.

Thanks for your observations but it has only added to the puzzle since I can confirm that the directory public_html is entered in lower case both on the Cumulus internet configuration page and throughout FileZilla. Also in the ftplog at time 10.40.19 and again at 10.50.08 the directory is shown correctly in lower case and uploading the files was commenced. Would not the fact that the steel series gauges and the other elements of the webpage are updating with today's data not bear this out or is that a false assumption, naive that I am? Is it correct to assume that I have uploaded one or more files to the wrong place in FileZilla?

Have you got a special character that you cannot see in front of public_html?
Also have you defined it as /public_html as that is important i.e. mine is /public_html/weather ?

Do you mean in FileZilla? Directory path there is shown as /public_html

No in Cumulus Configuration / Internet the directory box that is under the FTP port.
Filezilla has nothing to do with Cumulus uploads only the initial website setup to get the default files and the Images directory in place.

As you are running Windows 7 can you use the Snipping Tool and take a picture of the Cumulus Configuration/Internet window, then click on the Files tab and take a picture of that, and then post them both up here, as it has to be something on those pages.
