My WH1081 stopped transmitting wind data (bought in Aug 2011) and so I contacted Maplin tech support and they advised purchasing a new transmitter.
It arrived and didn't communicate with the base and I found out they have changed the transmitter frequency, I contacted them and they said yes that was true.
I complained that tech support didn't mention this and because I'm disabled I had to get someone to mount the station on the eaves for me and then take it down to fit a new transmitter.

Well they sent me a brand new WH1081 and refunded the transmitter, now that is great customer support!
