Cumulus Banner.php script..........adding new stuff.........

Post by nicksnet »

Has somebody got the answer to this ?.......

I've been trying to get the conditions icons to show on my banner, I see others and think hmm I'd like that but I can't fathom it out. I'm not sure what tag to use, but I think it's $currcond tag from the realtime txt file, tag # 49. Again not sure how to set this up with the script, it's driving me nuts !! :bash:

I'm using ver 3.00 of the banner script and Cumulus ver 1.9.4 # 1091 of the Cumulus station software.

Also noticed that there are some banners with the weather warning icons on them, namely the same icons used in the sidebar, again trying to solve this puzzle also.

Banner shown below in signature bar

Any help from fellow users would be appreciated.

Nick.

What conditions icons ?
The Cumulus version of the banner script diesn't have any ? (The original from which it is derived had logic which did for other softwares)
the weather warning icons ... the same icons used in the sidebar
Not sure what you are describing, but again probably a different variant.

It should be possible to mash it yourself (I used to for strorm warning), but of course you do lose 'real estate' or other data if you have to legibly fit more data in.
