Logging Interval

Post by Skyline »

Hi there, I wonder if anyone could give me a little advice. I have my data log interval set to 15 minutes which I think is the default. Syncronise the fine offset reads is not checked. When I look at the datalog the data appears to be being logged every 30 minutes not 15. Why is this? This is also supported by the data points on the graphs. I was checking this because I recently transferred all my data to a new PC running Windows 8.1 and it seems to run much slower when dowloading data than when it was running on XP. I run the software now on an SSD so I thought it would be quicker.

Cheers

See the FAQ: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Cumulu ... that_I_set

There are two independent logging intervals, the one in Cumulus and the one in the console. The one in Cumulus is used while Cumulus is processing live data, but when Cumulus starts up, it downloads data from the console logger, and each logger entry equals one Cumulus log entry. For consistency, it generally makes sense to have both set to the same interval.

You can set the console logger interval using the SetLogger program on the downloads page.
