Data file cumulus

Post by chtiserois »

Hi,
Sorry but as my English is very bad I go through Google translation. :oops:
I wonder if Cumulus can create a daily file named "yyyymmdd.txt" => "20140430.txt"
With recording every minute increments, which would contain

hh:mm;<#RCtem>;<#RCpress>;<#RCwspeed>;<#rmonth>;<#RCintemp>;<#currentwdir>;

ex:
10:01;10.1;1010.2;9.2;0.0;19.1;WNW;
10:02;10.2;1010.3;2.0;0.0;19.0;NW;
10:03;..............................

Well, thank you for your help and good day

No, sorry, Cumulus can't currently do that. It can create a file like this: hh:mm;<#RCtem>;<#RCpress>;<#RCwspeed>;<#rmonth>;<#RCintemp>;<#currentwdir>; but it would have to be at either of the two web update intervals. You would then have to write your own code to concatenate the entries into a log file, as some people do with realtime.txt and other files. You could perhaps use Cumulus Toolbox, or a command file executed by the Windows task scheduler.

Thank you for the reply,
In fact I can create a file in data but it fades every minute.
If cumulus do not know how I'll use a VBS.
perhaps in a future version :?:
Anyway thank you very much for the quick response.
good day

It's not too hard, in fact I'm pretty sure someone has posted something like this to the forum before.
perhaps in a future version :?:
Yes, definitely. 'Custom' log files would be a useful option.

Toolbox can create a cumulative realtime log, and search for realtime logger on the forum, there are a few solutions posted that could be adapted to log any customised version of a realtime file.

Hello mcrossley,
Thank you for the information, but as I said at the beginning of my message, my English is very bad and I searched this forum and others to no avail. :(
Have a nice evening
