Cumulus Support

I am new to all this, and I have a question. I have set Cumulus to create my own web using FTP now, I have also set the realtime updates but for some reason the realtime.txt file is not been transferred. is there some other setting I am missing?

If you've ticked all three 'realtime' boxes but the realtime.txt file isn't being uploaded, one possible explanation is that you have supplied an incorrect 'directory' in the settings. The solution is likely to be that you actually need to leave that field empty. In this situation, the 'normal' files will still be uploaded (as the 'change directory' simply fails but it isn't needed anyway) but realtime.txt doesn't get uploaded as the supplied directory is actually used as part of the remote file name.

If that doesn't help, turn on ftp logging and look at the realtimeftplog.txt file.
