Re: Console display died on WH3080
Hi Kedar,
Is it definitely the Console that has failed, i.e. a completely "blank" LCD, no "internal" measurements displayed, and/or no communications with the PC, etc.?
Generally, the Console is the most "expensive" part of the station, and even identical model numbers may use different radio frequencies, so the usual advice is to obtain another complete station, because at least the wind/rain sensors are compatible and may "come in useful" as spares later.
However, the "Solar Pod" of the 308x models is also an expensive component, so it might be worth finding out if the solar facilties are an "essential" part for the station. IMHO, the "solar charging" is a complete waste of space and even the solar measurements are of limited practical value.
But to be honest, I do quite like the 308x stations (when they work properly). I'm just not sure that they're worth a 50%+ higher price compared with the 108x or 208x stations.
Cheers, Alan.

Re: Console display died on WH3080
hey Alan,
I m agree with you on the replacement of the entire station they are overall not that expensive...but to my surprise my Niece just told me this morning that the console started working some how after taking the batteries our for some time and putting them back in. i think it needed a complete restart.
