Setting up a new website

Post by mayo.mick »

Hi guys, first off I'm posting here as a last resort, I've searched & searched and I'm facing a brick wall!

I have a WH1080 weather station set up about 3 years now, and never had any problems. Its uploading (when I think to connect!) to wunderground here; http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... =IMAYOSWI2 I used to have a wordpress.com website and was never able to add my station to it due to not having ftp access to the site.

In January this year I moved to my own domain and I embeded the wunderground page on my website here; http://michaelmaye.com/swinford-weather-station/ I would like to upload all my weather station data directly to my website now, as I now have ftp access to it. This is where I've run into problems. I've followed all the wiki guides but for some reason the page is not showing correctly, It could just be something very simple but I just cannot see it. Here is my new page; http://michaelmaye.com/swinford-weather/

I'll add some screen shots below if they are any help? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give, and apologies again if this is something simple, I'm at my wits end and just cannot see what I'm doing wrong.

Mayo Mick.

Looking at you pictures you have set the FTP directory incorrectly if your URL is to be believed.

Think it should be /swinford-weather with the hyphen and the forward slash before it.

Hi David, thanks for replying. I've tried that and I'm still getting the error message. When I try File >> Web update, I get this responce below;

According to this Topic https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2046 that error is caused by an incorrect password set in the FTP login.

As they did in the Topic try using the settings in FileZilla and when you get them to work set them exactly that way in Cumulus.

And if that doesn't help you will need to turn on ftp logging and look at the ftplog.txt file.
