WH1801 barro setting

Hi

I am absolutely new to this & only set the weather station up yesterday ,i could do with some help setting the Barometer .i have followed the instructions & my local reading is 1014 (met office ) & set it to this but the Barometer is showing 1010.7 Rel HPA do i have it on Rel or Abs or is there something i am missing ?

Any help appreciated

You should have it displaying relative pressure, and its the relative pressure setting that you need to set to the same as the Met Office reading. If you've done that, it's hard to see how it could then not be showing the same as the Met Office, as you've just set it to be the same, if you see what I mean.

Hi Steve ,

i have done this but it kept returning to 1010.3 have done it again & see if it stays ,might just be me not saving it ,also do you know if the pressure history should be static bar or keep flashing in turn

sorry if i sound thick ,but as i said i am an absolute newbie

You don't need to save the setting. Press the pressure panel three times; it's now displaying 'rel' and flashing. Use the + and - buttons to set the pressure, and then just leave it. After a few seconds it will stop flashing, and continue to display the value you've set.

The pressure bar chart is 'animated'. I don't see the point, but that's what it does.

Thank you for this ,it has now stayed at 1014 ,& is dropping slowly ,before it was reverting to 1010 ,

what would be the best software for Imac ,i have Weathersnoop 3 ,is there anything else to run /test against this

Well, since this is the Cumulus support forum, I guess I would have to say Cumulus ;) But I don't have a Mac version yet. The Windows version does run with Parallels. Perhaps someone else will be able to advise you, I'm busy enough as it is supporting Cumulus.
