Could anybody help please. While doing an update I 'lost' 9.0 mm of rainfall which had taken place during the day. I have sorted out other minor problems that I had but can't add on the 9.0mm to my July rainfall total.Any advice appreciated.
Cheers,
Chris

Add it to the 'total rainfall' field for that day in dayfile.txt.

I've a similar problem. Since I set up my Watson Weather Station W-8681 in May I have had a couple of problems. I have two extreme readings I would like to edit out of the record. Both of which show up on my "Records" page.
1: Lowest Pressure (sl) -8985.3 mb at 11:13 PM on 12 May 2009
2: Highest Rain Rate 190.8 mm/hr at 12:28 PM on 01 August 2009
The latter is as the result of me resiting the rain gauge this morning on a more substantial base. Infact I have a number of rogue reading from the Rain Gauge but can edit them using the method you gave Chris.

To remove these, edit them out of your dayfile.txt (you'll have to come up with some appropriate numbers to put in instead - you could trawl the appropriate monthly log for suitable values), then load dayfile.txt into Excel or similar and sort on the relevant columns; this will give your correct value/date/time to put in using the all-time record editor.

Thanks for the advice. I've solved the phantom pressure record reading as you suggested, but where in the 'dayfile.txt' do I find the reading to the Highest Rate of Rainfall?
