Rob, I am quite unfamiliar with NAS I have never heard of NAS before ... and I was not bornt yesterday... ;)

I did a quick search of the Internet and got 'Network-attached storage' as a possible definition for NAS but, even after reading some information on Wikipedia I am not too sure I understand fully the concept of a NAS...

Hi everyone,

Unfortunetly I seem to be having a problem getting the realtime software to work.

The realtime.txt is located in http://www.technoparrot.com/public_html/

and the line from CumulusRealtime.xml reads

<realtimeURL>http://www.technoparrot.co.uk/public_ht ... ealtimeURL>

When connecting to http://www.technoparrot.com/CumulusRealtime.html all I get is the "Loading Data" message, but if I connect to http://www.technoparrot.com/index.html I get a text page with the data !

Could someone please tell me where I am going wrong ??

Thanks.

Your URL is wrong, it should be http://www.technoparrot.com/realtime.txt

It needs to be '.com' not '.co.uk', and also, the outside world (including Cumulus Realtime) doesn't know about your public_html folder, it just wants a real web URL.

Thanks Steve. I had tried nearly every combination I could think of, but didn't realise I had typed the address incorrectly !

Works perfectly now of course ..............
