Cumulus Support

My station was mounted to the side of the bungalow today on a 6' crank with a 6' straight attached, its swaying and so I need to run 3 lines to steady it.

What can I use that won't break the bank and won't upset the wife, I was thinking about a 100lb sea fishing braid?

I use 100lb fishing line on mine, cost about £3 from ebay.

I don't know if its the same stuff but I used stainless steel fishing trace wire. Also as I used to build radio controlled yachts I used mini turnbuckles to tighten them (perhaps a bit of overkill, but hey... I already had them. )
