I already had a min size on the graphs width - 450 pixels, I have upped it to 550.

Also added non-breaking spaces on the recent tables between the values and units.

Mark - looks very good on desktop using IE 11, Opera 20, and Chrome. FF 27 is less appealing...very readable, but "crowding" the edges of the screen. Scrn Res @ 1440 x 900. Blackberry Playbook very readable in landscape mode and quite readable in portrait mode. All viewed with 72 year old eyes.

Very clean Mark, nice choice on the template. Worked in all the browsers/gadgets I have and no html5 or css3 errors

This range is usually occupied by tablets which normally autoscale the page to fit anyway. If you are in this range on a desktop then it isn't currently catered for I'll see what I can do.

Well, thanks for the feedback folks, most useful and amazingly positive

I will be make a few more tweaks, then cutting over so that this becomes my main site in the near future. Any remaining issues I'll resolve as I go along I think.

I like your new look site and can only reiterate every one else’s positive comments it also works very well on my Nexus 7 and Galaxy S3.

I think studebaker’s problem with FF 27is that the zoom level is too high; just needs to press ctrl + zero to reset to 100%.

I think I may be wrong there as FF auto ranges when you zoom in.

OK, I took the plunge and switched over - a bit of a messier process than I had anticipated, but I think it is all done now, and 301 redirects for all the old pages to new are in place (I think!)

Lets see how the overnight roll-over/processing goes now!

Looks excellent Mark and everything works from here. Is that the Sager 12-24 hour forecaster scrolling in your ss-gauges page?

I also like your Historic historical data in graph form, especially the year by year comparison. How/where would I start to get something like that? I have my MySQL database which now provides my Top 10 page.

The Highcharts 'stuff' is in this thread. It has evolved over time so some of the detail at the beginning got superseded.

You can view the source for any of the php scripts by adding the parameter ?view=sce

Yes it is, my customised version of the script anyway. Since I went fully PHP on the old site (and of course carried forward on this new site) it makes it much simpler to combine data from different sources.

I have to say its a fantastic site - yours is one of sites we have looked to for inspiration on various data viz issues (I am from the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at University College London). I was wondering if your page is open source - ie would you be happy for people to use it and adapt it? If so is there an easy way to get it up and running with another site/data feed.

At the moment we run various simplified sites - such as Colours - http://www.casa.ucl.ac.uk/weather/colours.html (the background changes according to the outside temp), it also powers our CityDashboard http://citydashboard.org/london/

Anyhow just wanted to say well done - we also really like the experimental pages, esp the flat design and the wooden display (is that page also adaptable?)...

Theres a few of your widgets i might have to add to my site too

I viewed it at 1366x768 resolution on Linux crunchbang 11 via Chromium and Iceweasel browsers.

I'm not precious about the code (except the Instromet Climatica - which belongs to Prodata), but I am short on time right now, so no hand holding.

The site template is from http://www.css3templates.co.uk/, but there are lots of others on that site and elsewhere that could be implemented as well.
