Cumulus doesn't load custom HTML files

Post by mangia86 »

Hi.
I Have a problem with Cumulus and files upload.
The problem is that Cumulus uploads only the standard HTML files and images, but doesn't upload my personal HTML files.
Some weeks ago, the upload was successful.
This is the screenshot of my internet settings. I have some personal HTML with webtags (condizioni-in-breve.html), and I want Cumulus to process it. However, the file doesn't upload. Where am I wrong?

Is the remote filename correct? Without a path it will just go in the default/home directory - is that how your ftp server is set up? Is your 'ftp directory' setting on the sites/options tab empty? Do you have 'realtime' enabled on the other tab?

Ok, let's try to setup my Cumulus.
1) Hostname is "meteogodego.it", don't know if I have to write also "www." or "ftp.".
2) The folder where I have to upload the files is "public_html".
Is the configuration correct?

In the files tab, the directory of the source file is not a problem. But what about the remote filename? If I have already specified the folder "public_html", have I to re-write it in the path?
I tried several configurations, but only the upload of the standard files was successful.

Some weeks ago all worked fine, then I had to re-install Cumulus and now I have such many problems. :bash:

Help me! :D

I don't know, because I don't know anything about your hosting. If it's uploading the standard files to the correct place, then clearly it's correct.

That's what it says in the help, yes. So if your configuration above is correct, you need public_html/condizioni-in-breve.html for the remote filename.

Exactly, standard files are uploaded into the public_html folder, so I think the configuration is correct.

I have already tried it, but no luck. The file "condizioni-in-breve.htmltmp" is created into the local folder, but no files are uploaded.

Where is the problem?

Turn on ftp logging, and look at the realtimeftplog.txt

Found the problem.
In the remote filename I have to use "/" instead of "\".
What a fool! :bash:
