Anyone using this software with a wordpress install? I am currently but I'm having trouble pulling the largest image without a very limiting plugin

Re: SebecTec webcam with time-lapse software
The software has been running on my PC for a few months now with excellent result, some really good time-lapse videos created. Just need the option or a way of uploading a weeks worth of videos then overwriting them. I was hoping the software may get developed for this to be included.
here is an example of one

You could make your own script to simply rename the files on site before the new one is uploaded.
I have 3 on my site. Before the new one uploads, I delete the third and rename the other 2.

Re: SebecTec webcam with time-lapse software
Thanks - but I have no idea on how to write a script and really need the software to do the work for me, unless you have a free "script" I can use with minimal fuss and use ?

Paul, are you using the SebecTec IPTimelapse Webcam software?Paul C wrote:Just need the option or a way of uploading a weeks worth of videos then overwriting them. I was hoping the software may get developed for this to be included.
If so, there is already an option in the software to upload a new video every days and then, after 7 days, to start overwriting the old video - you end up with (always) only 7 videos plus the 'Intraday' video - the software does that automatically.

If I remember correctly how to do it...Paul C wrote:Can you point me in the right direction if possible ?
On the bottom left side of the 'Time-Lapse Video' tab, a check mark should be place in front of the 'Keep weeks log of images having weekdays names. (on server only)' option ... I think (it has been so long since I activated the 'no-more-than-seven-days-of video' option and, unfortunately, I did not make a note of the procedure ).
Let me know if that option does it...

Re: SebecTec webcam with time-lapse software
Paul, at what time have you set the IPTimelapse software to produce the full-day video?
As I only upload video images between sunrise and sunset (I see no purpose in uploading dark and useless images at night), I have set my copy of IPTimelapse to produce and upload its daily full-day video at 23:00.
If you have set IPTimelapse to produce the video at midnight, most likely, it will use name of the day when the video is produced and not the day when the images were produced and saved.

Thanks - thats a good point re time video is made - will look at that !! thanks
I have a infrared device on mine so I do get a little cloudscape at night and it picks up the rain well. I may change it but was hoping that if we get any snow in the winter I would like to see how it falls during the night
cheers

Re: SebecTec webcam with time-lapse software
Just started using this software.
So far I love it. Still have a few issues getting the time lapse to look smooth. Just figured out how to solve the colors at the bottom of some of the photos.
Have a new computer coming to set it up and run on, on my laptop right now not the best.
Fantastic job of adding in the ability to archive for a set length of time, no need to go in and delete old stuff.
Just wish it had ability to control my PTZ camera and do the same at other locations.
BEST web cam software I have ever come across.

Re: SebecTec webcam with time-lapse software
Hi All,
Firstly I would like to thank Brad of http://www.mckeanweather.com/mwwebcam.php for his concept / core scripts he supplied earlier in this thread.
Also I would like to thank Michael of https://iptimelapse.com/ for his brilliant program and support.
Also I would like to thank Colin of http://weather.kcsolutions.com.au/webcam.php for his display concept, which I have used as a concept though modified to my requirements.
Thanks to all who have contributed to the earlier post's, I am a long way off a final public display, though here is where I have been able to get to based on the above mentioned. One of today's Intraday video's.
https://southfranklinweather.com/webcam ... 171231.mp4
One with more Night Vision : Although Moon at the latter part of video below was at 96% Illumination (it was low on the back horizon).

Hopefully after solving some CumulusMX Data Overlay and Image Capture Timeliness issues that I have, the pages below will go live sometime next week. One showing Night Capture: Kind regards,
