cam & time lapse web sites all complete - using scripts only

Progress update.....

After some trial and error, I've managed to take/upload jpg/create mp4's and keep a video archive only using cumulus, cumluus toolbox, dos scripts and a standalone schedule app(windows task manager is dead on my system)
My hardware consists of a dedicated windows media centre with a network NAS And a Foscam FI9805W HD 1.3mp IP camera which happens to be able to take a jpg every x time Which it uploaded to the NAS drive(no PC needed).
Every 10 mins I run a small script that finds the latest jpg, copies, renames And upload to the web site.
At the end of the day, I run another script to copy all jpg, rename in sequence and compile to mp4 to be uploaded.

That's the basics of it. The reason I did this is because running ispyconnect on a media centre to take the shots and time laspe stuff started to bog the system down.

So this can all be done with zero dollars and next to no PC resources!!!!

PS. Currently only test time lapse video's showing and creation starts at 1/3/14(silly me deleted all the jpg from 28/2 & 27/2 testing a script)

Web can feed closes between 9pm and 5am. plus who want to see black images!!!!!
The above comes with a we are closed html page that gets uploaded at set times.

That would be time lapse video for day 3, has no video!!!

If that's not the case, let us know what browser and os so I can test...

I get the error above in firefox for all 3 days, in IE 8 I just don't see the videos to select one, but it works great in chrome!!

EDIT: I suspect I'm seeing the same video for day 1 and day 2 though. for a test its a huge success though.

Mm, strange, I've tested in Firefox (home PC), chrome(mobile device) and opera (mobile device).
Have to test on IE, I have 9 I think.. Will test later!!!

Cause i was testing a script that deletes jpg's, silly me.

As only test Mp4's they May or may not have been compiled with the current ffmpeg script, I changed it around so much....
And some tweaking is still required.

Yes IE8 doesnt support it (not sure about IE9) see http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_video.asp

<source src="movie.ogg" type="video/ogg"> can be scraped thats for audio

The <video> tag is supported in Internet Explorer 9+, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari.

Note: Internet Explorer 8 and earlier versions, do not support the <video> tag.

I've testded it on my windowsphone works fine and all major browsers on adroid 4.4 on my tablet

The camera is a FoscamFI9805W HD 1.3mp 960p H.264 Outdoor IP Camera which I'm very happy with. I've got it set to 720p on the camera and I'm sure I'm using the 480p profile in ffmepg....

Running Firefox 24.2.0 under Linux (Centos 6.4) and I get the message:
"No video with supported format and MIME type found"

Running Firefox 25.0 under Ubuntu 12.04 and it works fine.

Could be the older version of Fiirefox under Centos is missing some plugin.

Looks good, resolution is great.

What frame rate are you using to create the time-lapse? Do you take extra images or is it just based on the same image every 10 minutes that you upload to your web site?

I forgot to mention I close the feed down between 9pm - 5am.
I don't see the need for black still or including them in the time lapse video.
I have put up a funny business hours jpg while I wait for a friend to design a better one!!!

complete success with customs scripts last night, all worked the way it should, but................

As i'm with Internode and they provide only 50 MB of web space. Now this is a problem since my site was sitting around 78MB...

I've reduced the bitrate from 1512 to 1300 which dropped the size from 30MB to 22MB and shaved 30 minutes of jpg capture, have to wait to see what the size end up like...

Anyway, lapse 1 & 2 are the same video 22MB and lapse 3 is the 30MB one if anyone is interested taking a look..

I don't even know if my camera does blue sky yet. It definitely does grey though
